Flux Pavilion throwing down at Denver's Decadence New Year's Eve

At the stroke of midnight on December 31st of last year, Global Dance, Sub.mission Dubstep and the Colorado Convention Center helped to break their state's record for the largest, single-day dance music event: the DECADENCE New Years Eve celebration. Clocking in at eleven-thousand attendees, this party was surely a monumental event for the rapidly flourishing EDM scene in Colorado. Last year the producers of this event incorporated state-of-the-art production, tons of extremely well-known national artists, and themed decor to create an adult only, immersive experience; and this year will be no exception.

Whether attendees ring in 2013 at the Global Dance Arena hosted by Triad Dragons Entertainment or the Global Dub Arena hosted by Sub.mission Dubstep, they will be completely engaged by the eclectic mix of genres that have been integrated into this year's installment of Decadence. The line-up includes genres such as Dubstep, Trance, Electro-House, Glitch-Hop, Trap, and everything in between.

Wolfgang Gartner, Electro-House producer/DJ from Los Angeles is known to create high energy sets with his original productions, and will be rocking the dance-floor of the Global Dance Arena as a headliner along with ATB, AKA Andre Tannenberger, known Trance legend.

Zeds Dead, Canadian duo who formed in the summer of 2009 will be providing hip-hop influenced dubstep for the evening in the Global Dub Arena. They will be accompanied by co-headliners Flosstradamus, a duo from Chicago who burst into the EDM scene this past year by creating an extreme craze for Trap music. With plenty of releases on Fool's Gold, Mad Decent and Jeffree's its no surprise that Flosstradamus has had an impactful year on the electronic music scene.

Krewella, the three-part dubstep/electro group also from Chicago, will be getting the party started in the Global Dance Arena alongside Rudee and local Denver superstars: Ecotek, Jontron and Joman

MiM0SA will also be in attendance, providing some variety in the Global Dub Arena with his "genre bending soundscapes," and vibrant stage energy. Paul Basic, a Colorado native and member of the Pretty Lights Music record label, will be warming up the decks with his notoriously funky glitch-hop tunes. DJ Fury, Denver native and long-time Drum & Bass expert will be accompanied by MC Dino. Last but not least, Sub.mission Dubstep residents Dodger and Supreme will be getting the night started right with their heavy-hitting sets.

While the inaugural year of Decadence impressed all who attended, this year is rumored to be the largest event, in terms of production, that Global Dance has ever hosted. Laser Energy Light Shows has been announced as part of the production team, but it will be up to attendees to really see what this event has to offer. Tickets are still on sale at TicketMaster.com, along with VIP Tickets and VIP Cabanas. Spend your final moments of 2012 celebrating all that electronic music has become while happily looking forward to 2013! Don't sleep on this one, Denver.
