EDM's favorite foursome is back with a beastly dubstep track, and they brought a boatload of remixes with them too! Dirtyphonics bring a back an old school techno to start out the track, but soon ditch it for grimy bass. The song has a very complete feel with little elements that bring it together and definitely will put your rage face on.
The first remix comes from 12th Planet who does a complete genre cross-over with trap and dubstep. I was a bit skeptical with a “trapstep” track but 12th Planet shows his musical prowess with a solid blend of styles. The English homie, Metrik, produced an all out drum and bass remix that pumps up the energy and does not let go. Dirtyphonics could not have an EP without quality D&B production and they definitely got that from Metrik.
My personal favorite remix of the EP comes from the Brazilian producer Darth & Vader who drops some of the best hard-hitting electro tracks. He shows off a flawless progression with breaks and pauses in all the right places. The final remix off the EP comes from Nicolas Malinowsky, which shows that Dirtyphonics is on board with the emergence of the new trap genre. The 12th Planet remix had some clear trap elements in it, but this some high quality trap that will rattle your license plate. If you like trap, this is a must listen!
Dirtyphonics recently threw in an extra remix from Synchronice for free from their Facebook page, here, for download. A synthy start leads to fast paced drumstep track that is definitely worth grabbing. All the tracks can be heard below.
