Last year, Atlanta-based producer Ralf Popescu, better known as Popeska, saw his debut release on Wolfgang Gartner's Kindergarten Recordings with the 4-song EP "Karmameter." Early in 2013, he followed up with two free downloads and an official remix for The Bloody Beetroots and Greta Svabo Bech's "Chronicles of a Fallen Love."

Today, Popeska returns to Beatport with "The New Kings," an electro house collaboration with Luciana - a vocalist who has a very long list of credentials in the dance world including "We Own The Night."

"I love Wolfgang Gartner, ever since we worked together to sing on his and Tiesto’s track ‘We Own The Night’. I was really excited to hear about him signing Popeska - so of course wanted to do something exciting and new. I love working with new talented artists - it seemed a natural thing to do! 

The New Kings is a song for the kids - the new generation and people that love dance music. 'We can all be heroes - we are beautiful tonight' - in that moment when we all come together and feel those twisted beats and the heat and the excitement - I still get a thrill every time I walk in to a club!"
