At the ripe age of 22, the rising Dutch star, Sandro Silva has taken the electronic dance music scene by storm with monster hits such as “Epic” and “Get Lower.” He is back at it again with his latest EP Let Go Tonight, released on Ultra Records tomorrow, December 11^th, with some of the biggest progressive house tracks to hit the ears of all music aficionados with his latest work.

“Libra” is the first track off the EP which is already available on Beatport, with the melodic beats and technical workings of the song. The power of the song is held in the emotion of the track drawing in from the piano and flowing melodic harmony of the entire track. “Let Go Tonight” is the second track off of the EP with vocals from Jack Miz. This definitely sounds like a synthy dream with inspiring vocals that make you want to sing along with it. The third and final track off the EP, “Thug,” gets you bouncing along to it as the long buildups and deep drops surrender to the low ending of the track. Its for sure a a hard-hitting electro house tune that is dirty and nasty in all the right places.

We had the opportunity to ask Sandro some questions about what the process of creating the EP was like, what’s up next for him, and other exciting things. Check it out below:

ITAM: What was the process like creating this EP? What inspired you to produce these tracks?

SS: Most important for me was to do something complete different after my big breaktrough 'EPIC'. I made 3 tracks and they are all totally different from eachother and every track is a unique piece. It's a different approach for me on EDM and I hope people will like it!

ITAM: How long did the entire process of creating the EP take?

SS: It depends, because sometimes I can finish a track in a week, but sometimes it can take longer on specific tracks, even months sometimes!

ITAM: What is your favorite track off the latest EP?

SS: Let Go Tonight is a real favorite of mine, I love the vocals on it and it gives me a real good feeling! Thug is a track I would play live a lot because It's a real peaktime club smasher.

ITAM: What's next for Sandro silva? Will you be going on a tour soon?

SS: I've got a lot of new tracks lined up already again, and I can't wait to show it to the world. I'm actually on a airport right now and going to Switserland for a show tonight.

ITAM: If you can describe your sound in 3 words what are they?

SS:Powerful, deep, energetic.

ITAM: If you could collaborate with any artist right now who would it be and why?

SS: I think it would be David Guetta. He's a real influence for me, as he keeps dropping hitsongs and stays innovative at the same time.

ITAM: If you could hit the decks and play back to back with another artist who would it be and why?

SS: I think it would be Eric Prydz, gotta love his own sound and style. He's one of a kind!

ITAM: Tell the ITAM audience something they don't know about Sandra silva!

SS: I actually love soccer besides music. It's a real passion and I try to stay up to date every week!

ITAM: What can we expect from you in the future?

SS: I'm really active in the studio last couple months and there are really magical things happened. Big things, so I can't wait to share this with the world.
