She responded with an enthusiastic “YES!”.  The world is becoming a strange place.

Jerome LOL on the forthcoming movement of heavenly trap. Twerking in and of itself was a big part of 2012 – I would know, seeing as I frittered away countless hours of my life on Youtube watching THE OFFICIAL TWERK TEAM’s videos (NSFW. Not safe for anywhere, really). Be careful, you can get lost in there.

I honestly have nothing to say about this one I just really like this tweet and Zedd and run on sentences.

RL Grime was on of the biggest breakthrough artists of 2012, both through his music and his online persona. This tweet is just such a mom move, I can’t even handle it.  Props to her for recognizing 2 Chainz, though. 

3. We're on a Boat

Hudson Mohawke’s (who is also half of TNGHT with Lunice) entire Twitter feed is just so out there – naturally - it led me to become obsessed with him. Also, his bio describes himself as “The Worlds fattest dog laying on the beach.” So that’s that.

Dillon Francis has a firm grasp on comedy, the Internet, and most importantly, the truth. She does sound like that. 

1. Middle School Sex Machine

A list of best tweets fails to be complete without mentioning Diplo, whose feed reads as an absurd yet hysterical stream of consciousness. Here is an excellent collection of him at his best.
