Happy hump day INTO THE AM nation! This installment of the Weekly Wrap Up we’re bringing you another stacked lineup that’s going make you say “DAMN SON, WHERE’D YOU FIND THIS?!”
FRIDAY December 7th
This week for Avalon is bringing Hollywood the trappiest night its ever experienced when BOTH Flosstradamus and Krewella shred the decks of the historic venue!

Flosstradamus

Josh Young and Curt Cameruci are known individually as J2K and Autobot, but are better known by their duo name, Flosstradamus. The Flosstradamus project started as a series of DJ parties in their hometown of Chicago. Word of mouth about their eclectic mashup of electro, house, minimal techno, and sleazy R&B quickly spread, and their parties often would sell out at a moment's notice. Their monthly party continued to be a heavy draw during the mid-2000s, with people from all over the nation traveling to Chicago to experience their performances. Bringing you the grimiest tracks since 2006, they broke onto the scene in 2007, Flosstradamus released a mix album for Vice Records as part of Toyota's Scion "CD Sampler" series. In addition, during the summer of 2007 they embarked on an international tour with Chromeo, dubbed the "Fancy Footwork Tour". They have performed at events such as Coachella, Pitchfork Music Festival, Lollapalooza, and South by Southwest. They are frequently associated with such acts as Kid Sister (Young's sister), The Cool Kids, Chromeo, and A-Trak.
Krewella

Krewella hails from Chi-town consisiting of sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf and Rain Man. Their EP, Play Hard was released on June 18, 2012 exclusively on Beatport followed by an iTunes release on June 26, 2012. Krewella first caught national attention with their video for “Killin’ It” in early 2012. Several teaser videos launched on Krewella's Youtube channel around the Play Hard release in June including a video for "Alive." In August 2012, Krewella premiered their new video for "Feel Me" on Vibe.com. Recapping their Los Angeles gigs from first leg of their Play Hard Tour from February 2012, the visual sees the trio as they embark on their first routed tour through California. The grimey trio is about to bring it to Hollywood, with one goal and one goal only, “making you wet, one song at a time.”
