Friday January 4^th

Avalon is bringing the Aussie from down under to the decks of Hollywood, when Anthony Maniscalco, better known as Hook N Sling shows Los Angeles what’s up. In 2007, Hook N Sling ranked on the DMC Buzz Chart at #1 with his smash “The Bump,” receiving multiple plays on Pete Tong’s BBC Essential Mix. Remixing for the likes of Calvin Harris, Miike Snow, Wolfgang Gartner, and Fedde le Grand.  A Hype Machine #1, gold-certified Belgian Top 5 and 6m + Youtube views for his latest hair raising track, “Take You Higher” featuring Goodwill, his knockout remix of Afrojack and Steve Aoki’s “We’re All No One,” and his latest hit is with Australian counterparts, the Covergirl beauties, Nervo, with the track “Reason.” Hook N Sling will definitely throw down a sticky electro show!

Saturday January 5^th

On the other side of town, Exchange LA and Insomniac are hosting another epic event as they bring LA native Trent Cantrelle to grace the decks on the historic venue for Inception Saturdays. Getting his feet wet in the early 90s he spent over a decade developing and perfecting his sound, until 2005 when he scored Essential New Tune at WMC 2005 with the anthem “Runaway.” Afterwards, Pete Tong declared him “One of the hottest dance talents from the US.” This track launched him globally and gave him a completely new audience, with more momentum than ever, he released track after track including Turbofunks “Gotta Move” remix, Pete Hellers “Big Love,” and Deep Flexion “Emotions of the Night.” Not only does he create incredible tracks, remixes the biggest names in music, but he also has performed at some of the biggest festivals including Coachella and EDC.
