Avalon is bringing you one of the premiere OG tastemakers that is one of the most predominant and influential dupstep producers, born Oliver Dene Jones, but better known as Skream. Growing up in London, the homeland of drum ‘n bass and dubstep genres, Skream began producing on FruityLoops around the age of 15, and hasn’t stopped since. He gained notice from some of the most established media outlets such as The Guardian and Pitchfork Media. His tracks “Midnight Request Line” and La Roux’s “In for the Kill” remix have been recognized as some of the most important tracks of Dubstep. Skream got together with fellow producers Benga and Artwork that comprise the Dubstep trio to reckoned with, Magnetic Man, producing tracks such as “Getting Nowhere” and “Fire.” Don’t miss this legendary producer shred the decks of Avalon and give 2012 one last hoorah!

We here at INTO THE AM are very proud to announce that the opener for this OG producer will be none other than our very own resident artist, Singularity. The young producer out of Los Angeles has extensive experience in drumline from his high school years, which allows him to produce music that is not only catchy, but also rhythmically engaging. After entering his first remix competition for Martin Solveig, his remix of "Hello" was chosen out of over 800 applicants to be released on Big Beat Records. Solveig himself commented, "Great vibe, energy & ideas. Delicious harmonies on the breaks too." Although this was his first official release on Beatport, it wouldn't be the last. Soon after, he placed first in a remix contest for Lucky Date, allowing him the opportunity to release tracks with huge labels such as Big Fish and Big Alliance. He’s played shows with names like Steve Aoki, 12th Planet, R3HAB, and more. Pasqual Rotella himself, the founder and president of Insomniac, chose him to play on the Discovery Stage of EDC Las Vegas. He recently finished the first ever national INTO THE AM tour, and just released his latest remix of “Clique.” At the ripe age of 20, Singularity is just beginning a very successful career, and we’re excited to see where he will go! Make sure to check out the next big up and comer, Singularity, opening up for Skream!

Exchange LA is bringing two of the funkiest producers to jam on the decks for another installment of Inception Saturdays with none other than P-Thugg and Dave 1, better known as the elctro-funk duo, Chromeo. Chromeo is Moog riffs, luxurious harmonies, macho guitar solos and real-deal songcraft. From the dancefloor-ready singles "Fancy Footwork" and "Tenderoni," to the autobiographical Jew-boy ballad "Momma's Boy," to the epic sax-laden album closer "100%," Fancy Footwork rolls you through a sleek, melodic world where all you need to worry about is whether you've got your sunglasses on and the right moves to keep up. Chromeo's debut LP, She's In Control, is out now on Vice Records (US), Turbo Recordings (Canada), V2 (Europe), and Modular People (Australia). The duo is now taking their live incarnation on the road. All this time, Dave has only had one specific ambition in mind for Chromeo.“I want to write sincere love songs, like ‘Cool It Now’ by New Edition,” he says. “That is one of my all-time favorite tracks in the universe.” Make sure you end your 2012 right with this duo and get your funk on going into the new-year!
